AT the European Mobile World Congress this year it was not only mobile phones that managed to get press coverage, HP the American PC maker is making strides with new range of devices including launching its Windows 10 Elite x3 made an appearance at the fair with a new tablet.

The HP Pro x2 was the newest 2-in-1 detachable unveiled and does not look like any other tablet, the device looks rugged, robust yet retains the sleek element of a convertable. Built to withstand rough handling which is what a commercial table should be made to, the Pro x2 went through 120,000 test process and loads other so that users can have the peace of mind when taking this versatile workhorse to site. With a long battery life and a ventless design that works even in dusty environments, the Windows 10 Pro edition x2 has also all the powerful specifications found in high end laptops. Like a 7th generation intel processor, 8GB memory, 5Mp FHD front and 8MP back camera, USB 3.0 x 1 and 3.1 Type C  internal storage ranges from 128 to 512 GB.

Considering the price tag US$1399 (approx. RM6000) the 12″ x2 is a strong contender to Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and appears neck to neck in terms of features, but how HP managed to stand apart is probably the durability functions, shipping with keyboard and pen. But things might change when MS releases Surface Pro 5, touted to be a game changer!
