HP has released images of its upcoming Envy Note, the new Envy 8 Note, an 8″ tablet that uses a stylus. According the PC maker, this 2-in-1 was engineered with the customers need for mobility, basically to work from anywhere, that comes with a 10″ full-sized keyboard, a trackpad that supports the ultra-portable 8″ diagonal tablet with a unique built-in tablet holder.

Reading through some of the features we found certain aspects of the device that makes it appealing, like the fact that you can tap twice anywhere to take notes and they are automatically save to OneNote. Your notes will then automatically embed links to the files, websites, or applications you are using. Pretty cool.

A comeback of sort of styluses, the Window 10 Envy also comes with a unique ergonomic HP Active Pen which mimics the weight and balance of a real pen, and gives precision with real-time responsiveness. As for the display, the 8 inch tablet is made of a Full HD Corning Gorilla Glass screen, 5megapixel camera for the rear and 2mp for the back. What is interesting is the audio on the device, HP has gone super main stream with B&O system, the people who make real high-end speakers and audio equipment.

At 7.7mm thin, with color accents which is designed to catch the eye the LTE/4G abled Envy 8 Note sports an aluminum full size base, the keyboard looks sturdy and solid and looks as comfortable to use as a notebook. As a first the device has a trackpad. Storage is 32GB but good news is it has an expandable slot for all that work, pictures and videos that will require storing.

Unlike Acer Iconia Tab 8 or Lenovo Yoga Tab, the Envy Note 8 appears much of a multi-tasker, rather than a one trick pony, with full 10″ keyboard and stylus, the tablet works as a productivity tool instead of just an entertainment gadget.
