HONOR has now revealed a collaboration with high-fashion label Moschino for the HONOR 20 Series. And honestly, who cares? Are you really going to splurge God knows how much money, just for a bag for your phone? Sure, you could basically use it for anything else, so I don’t quite understand this collaboration. HONOR claims that they want to bridge the gap between fashion and tech, but is this really the way? Moschino isn’t the only fashion brand HONOR has collabed with. Other being the streetwear label, AAPE by A Bathing APE for the HONOR 20 Lite launch in China.

HONOR Malaysia recently launched its contest for the first ever HONOR Chief Fashion Officer to join the upcoming HONOR 20 Series launch in London this 21st May. It seems like all of this is one big push for the brand to establish itself amongst others, as fashionable? But in practical terms, would you really wanna spend that much money just for a bag to carry your phone? Here’s something I found online, which looks similar in size to the bag they’ve got on display.

So all that money you saved, buying a budget smartphone, can be used to buy a $595 (RM 2,468) bag for the phone. Makes sense right? Well, Honor actually didn’t mention how much it’ll go for, so we’re speculating here. But it’s ridiculous to think it’ll sell well. I mean, a phone case or something would’ve made sense, but a bag specifically for the phone, is bonkers. Hopefully Honor learns a lesson here, and realize their market. You’re a budget smartphone brand, don’t expect your users to care that much about a bag that’ll probably go for double what they’re spending on the phone.
