And just when I thought I’d heard everything, now I know there are people that sat through a few thousand films juts to count each and every swear in it. This new study from Buzz Bingo chronicles the results after studying films, actors and characters to find the worst of the worst.

Unsurprisingly, The Wolf of Wall Street tops the list with 715 curses throughout the 180-minute run time. In second, Uncut Gems which features Adam Sandler has 646 naughty words. Third place goes to Casino, a movie that I haven’t seen but clearly, is one I should get my eyes on.

But the actor that stands on the throne is none other than the illustrious Jonah Hill who recorded a total of 376 swears. This is the collective total of the movies he’s starred in, which can be attributed to his appearances in Superbad, The Wolf of Wall Street and countless nonsensical and utterly despicable films. Hill reached an average of 22.9 per 1,000 words spoken, which pretty insane when you think about it.

Hill took to Instagram to celebrate overthrowing Samuel L. Jackson off the throne.

Following Hill is Leonardo DiCaprio with 361 swears, Samuel L. Jackson with 301, Adam Sandler with 295 and Al Pacino with 255. The rest of the top 5 was pretty expected to be honest, and it’s kind of surprising Hill beats out industry leading foul-mouthed men, so it is somewhat of an achievement.

All I can really tell from this list is the fact that The Wolf of Wall Street was one dirty, dirty film. Jordan Belfort, DiCaprio’s character in The Wolf of Wall Street himself records 332 swears just in the movie, making him the most foul-mouthed in cinema. Donnie, Hill’s character records 74.0 swears per 1,000 words, topping that list as well.

End of the day, what I really take away from this is it’s time to watch The Wolf of Wall Street one more time.
