Google Users Help Alphabet Make $22.4 Billion In Q3

GoogleOfficeGoogle users around the planet helped parent company Alphabet’s revenue for third quarter 2016 see a massive jump compared to last year by using the services and watching paid commercials on YouTube. The public listed tech giant saw a 20% increase from $18.6 to $22.4 billion even surprising analysts who predicted a less stellar growth after stiffer competition from Facebook and the shift to mobile.

The company is driven predominantly from advertising revenue, while search on desktop continue to plateau, mobile and video is on the rise for Google with YouTube shinning the brightest. Moving into hardware has also been a bet that is bearing fruit, Pixel range of devices are reporting superb growth and has the potential to add to the company’s overall strategy.
