It’s been awhile – new toys by Canon!

Canon wants us to ‘Shoot Big, Show Big’ with its newly launched products – the EOS 760D, EOS 750D and Connect Station CS100.

Wataru Nishioka, President and CEO of Canon Marketing Malaysia declared, “We are very proud today to announce the arrival of two all new DSLRs as well as our very own Connect Station CS100 – products we hope will help amplify the power of photography to connect people.”

A first for entry level DSLRs, both DSLRs have a pixel count of 24.2 megapixels. This, when combined with the current Canon DIGIC 6 image processor, makes for images with great quality and colour. To differentiate itself, the EOS 760D is able to shoot movies in HDR, resulting in greater image detail.

Then there’s the Connect Station CS100, a media hub for the sharing of photos and videos to friends and family. It can be hooked up to a TV via HDMI to display your photos or high bitrate videos you’ve capture, copy the files on it to other Connect Stations using the Canon Image Gateway (CiG) through a WiFi network.

All three new products are WiFi enabled, meaning they can all communicate with networks, smart devices and even printers. The two cameras are equipped with NFC for easy pairing to smartphones or tablets for quick transfer of files, as long as you have the Canon Connect app, while the CS100 is currently the only media hub that supports access from a mobile’s web browser.

The Connect Station CS100 won’t be available till June 2015, but you can now purchase the Canon EOS 760D and EOS 750D locally. Listed prices below include GST:
