Get Ready For Leather Notebooks And 3D Fusion Jet Printing

In efforts to bring the latest in technology and innovation, HP Malaysia hosted the regional Southeast Asia HP Home Planet 2018 here at MITEC showcasing the newest in consumer and commercial line up of printers, notebooks and the much awaited 3D Jet Fusion Printing solutions for the first time.

Invited visitors and media from Malaysia,Thailand, Indonesia and Korea got a firsthand look at some of the innovation HP has been talking about in the US. Themed Our Home Today, Our World Tomorrow, the event filled the purpose the company has been constantly advocating which is reinvention and being ready for the digital workforce that make up SMBs and consumers in South East Asia and Korea (SEA-K).

During the session, Josephine Tan, Vice President, Product Management, Consumer Notebooks the person behind the conceptualisation of the very desirable HP Spectre Folio spoke passionately about her approach in making such artistic products that perfectly combine premium design, security and performance on the new Premium PCs. On display at the session were the genuine leather built HP Spectre Folio, the multifold HP Spectre 13 x360 and HP Spectre 15 x360 featuring a full blown gaming GPU.

HP collaborated with Intel to come with this unique custom motherboard that could with into the new Spectre.

Having moved into 3D printing in a big way, HP is the only printer brand that has ventured into the 3D printing segment commercially with its Jet Fusion solutions. After successful introduction in the States and Europe, the models finally arrive in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand appointing DKSH as sole distributor for the range. Customers could get their hand on the 500/300 series and possibly the larger 4200 models that can print 600-1000 parts per week very soon.

The event also saw the full extent of HP products with the new Elitebook x360 1040 G5 and the office purpose built Z range products which includes desktops, laptops and peripherals. After acquiring Samsung printer division back in 2016, we finally get to see A3 laserjets under HP brand being released, the LaserJet MFP M72625dn and M72630dn join HP’s A3 PageWide copier offerings, targeting the SMB’s and corporate customers.
