In order to give eSports the proper exposure and education it deserves, Southeast Asia’s largest gaming platform is pairing up with Malaysia’s very own media company. Garena and Media Prima Television Networks will form a partnership to not only promote but also educate the mass Malaysian audience on eSports as well as the e-gaming industry.

Media Prima will be working to provide news updates and access on various tournaments, updates and events when it comes to popular eSports titles like League of Legends, FIFA Online 3 and Arena of Valor. As Garena is the main game publisher for these titles, it will also be the organiser for various tournaments while also providing technical support and manpower for the events to come.

The first step in kicking off its partnership is by showcasing the upcoming FIFA Online 3 tournament, The National Championship Season 7 Final. It will be held at Kuantan City Mall in Pahang from 11 to 13 November 2017. The tournament will feature the top four teams in Malaysia, including the defending champions, Orange RF.Maestro. He will go up against SingaMalaya, EIAxiBuncet, and GiFTs for a shot at the RM40,000 prize pool, with RM16,000 going to the champion.
