Samsung has launched two new mid-range smartphones in Malaysia: the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G. Both models are available from April 10, 2026 and were introduced at an event at The Campus in Ampang, which included interactive zones for attendees to test the devices.
The Galaxy A57 5G is the slimmest model in Samsung’s A-series line, featuring a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster for outdoor visibility. The Galaxy A37 5G is aimed at users who need reliable performance for multitasking and mobile gaming. Both devices have 5,000mAh batteries, IP68 water and dust resistance, and Samsung Knox security. Samsung has committed to up to six years of operating system updates and security patches for both models.
On the camera front, the Galaxy A57 5G focuses on low-light photography, with a 50MP main sensor, upgraded Image Signal Processor, AI processing, noise reduction, and HDR video. The Galaxy A37 5G also has a 50MP triple-camera setup with AI scene optimisation for portraits. Both phones have a 12MP front camera.
Performance is supported by Samsung’s latest hardware. The Galaxy A57 5G runs on a 4nm Exynos 1680 chipset paired with 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Galaxy A37 5G comes with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Both devices handle app switching, streaming, and casual gaming smoothly.
Software features include Samsung’s Awesome Intelligence on One UI 8.5, with tools such as Voice Transcription, AI Select, Object Eraser, Best Face editing, and Circle to Search. Bixby and Gemini integration is improved, and Samsung Wallet provides digital storage and payment options.
The Galaxy A57 5G is priced at RM2,249 for the 12+256GB model and RM2,399 for the 12+512GB model, available in Awesome Navy, Gray, and Icy Blue. The Galaxy A37 5G starts at RM1,799 for the 8+256GB model and RM1,899 for the 12+256GB model, in Awesome Lavender, Charcoal, and Gray Green. Both are available from Samsung’s online store, Experience Stores, authorised retailers, and selected e-commerce platforms. Launch promotions and rebates are running until the end of 2026.
Accessories including Buds Core, Buds3 FE, Buds4, and Band Fit3 are available at discounted prices when purchased with either phone. Samsung Care+ coverage is offered for both models.
