FINNOVASIA to host the first global FinTech event in Malaysia

Finnovasia will be hosting their first global FinTech conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in partnership with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) on March 20-21.

The event will be held at Pullman City Centre Hotel and Residences, and is looking to host over 500 financial professionals, entrepreneurs, investors and regulators across the banking, government and technology sectors to share ideas and collaborate on the future of FinTech in Malaysia.

Featuring talks and discussion panels from 40 speakers across 20 countries, including Dato’ Yasmin Mahmood, CEO, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC); Aznan Abdul Aziz, Director Financial Sector Development, Bank Negara Malaysia; Chin Wei Min, Executive Director, Malaysia Securities Commission; Dato’ Wan Peng, COO, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC); Kanags Surendran, Managing Director & Head, Digital Banking, CIMB.

The event will focus on key themes around The Future of FinTech in Malaysia, Malaysia’s Startups, Banks, Islamic Finance, Blockchain, Digital Wealth Management and InsurTech. Finnovasia merges a “geeky-funky” startup event with “gentlemen club” banking conferences to creates a unique chemistry between FinTech entrepreneurs, investors, bankers and governments both in Asia and globally.
