OnePlus have unveiled their newest flagship killer, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Ironic how they’ve retained the nickname flagship killer, when at this point, they are the flagship. While the OnePlus 7 Pro is now the highlight of their device lineup, the OnePlus 7 is basically a better OnePlus 6T. So we’re focusing on the newest, hottest variant, the 7 Pro.

The OnePlus 7 Pro comes equipped with a motorised pop-up 16 MP selfie camera, 6,8, or 12GB of RAM, Snapdragon 855 Processor, and Standard lens 48 MP + 8 MP telephoto lens +16 MP Ultra wide angle lens triple camera setup. The phone will be available in 128GB or 256GB variants.

The display is something OnePLus are calling Fluid AMOLED, which is basically a Quad HD+ 3120 x 1440 resolution display. They also called it ‘Fluid’ AMOLED, because the phone is capable of a 90Hz refresh rate, which is pretty rare on the market. The display therefore, ends up being a 6.67″ gigantic screen in total. Well, 6.46″ if you don’t coundtthe rounded corners that is. The phone features no headphone jack as per industry standards, but comes with a 4000 mAh battery. Which is making the phone out to be honestly, pretty f***ing solid.

This, along with all of OnePlus’s software tweaks and UI, makes the phone to be a pretty good package. OxygenOs is the closest you’ll get to Stock Android, barring Google’s Pixel lineup. The camera also scored 111 on the DxO marks, which makes it second only to the Samsung Galaxy S10+ and the Huawei P30 Pro, who scored 112 DxO marks.

Oh, and did I mention the phone costs $669 (RM 2800)? Yeah, all this, for a fraction of what the S10+ and P30 Pro. So maybe for your next smartphone, try giving OnePlus a try. They might surprise you.
