All part of some conspiracy theory it seems..
Has Donald Trump finally lost his marbles? Well it sure seems like it. The US president decided to address a viral video thats been making its rounds on the internet of Buffalo police officers pushing a 75-year-old man to the ground, and then leaving him there as blood trickles from his head.

Martin Gugino, who is a longtime local peace activist remains in serious but stable condition in a Buffalo hospital but while the man recovers in the hospital, the president of what is supposedly the land of the free and the home of the brave is busy accusing him of being part of a conspiracy theory on Twitter.
Trump actually tweeted that Gugino may be an “ANTIFA provocateur” who was “scanning” police equipment when he was pushed. On top of that, Trump goes even further by suggesting that “he fell harder than was pushed” and that all this could be part of some sort of set up.
For all the things that Donald Trump has done during his presidency, this has got to be a new low. He’s flat out saying that Gugino is an “ANTIFA provocateur” with absolutely no evidence to back up his claim.
Trump has clearly been influenced by a conspiracy theory he ripped from a far-right cable news channel that suggests Gugino was using “common antifa tactics of trying to aim his cellphone at the approaching cops to scan communication and blackout their equipment.
Trump’s latest tweet seems to have even the Republicans distancing themselves from him.
Senator Kevin Cramer, a Republican from North Dakota, told reporters on Capitol Hill that “I don’t think Donald Trump is gonna change his behaviour,” whereas both Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senator John Cornyn of Texas didn’t even want to respond to questions on Trump’s tweet.
Perhaps the most surprising response came from GOP Senator Mitt Romney, who said that Trump’s tweet was “shocking” before saying that he did not want to dignify it further with a response.
Trump’s Elon Musk like carelessness with his tweets is definitely hurting his chances of reelection come November, but in spite of the fact that the president has repeatedly berated the platform for censoring and being unfair to him, he still seems hell bent on using it.
Is Trump’s Twitter antics helping or hurting his cause? I suppose we’ll find out come November.
