Air Selangor’s collaboration with Pandai Education Sdn Bhd signifies a pioneering step in the realm of educational empowerment for underprivileged SPM students.
The joint initiative, under the corporate social responsibility program Sesama Mara, aims to provide comprehensive digital educational resources to B40 students in preparation for their upcoming SPM examinations.
The strategic partnership builds upon the success of the ‘Empowering Online Learning’ program initiated in 2020, which served as a crucial lifeline for children from the B40 income group during the challenging times brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The newly extended collaboration endeavors to foster an engaging and motivating learning environment for students, equipping them with the necessary tools to excel academically.
Acting Chief Executive Officer of Air Selangor, Ir. Abas Abdullah, expressed his optimism, stating, “Through the Pandai Premium app, we aspire to make learning a more stimulating experience, igniting a sense of enthusiasm among students to prepare effectively for the upcoming SPM examinations.”
The joint effort involves granting Pandai Premium app subscriptions to 70 children of Air Selangor employees, 50 students affiliated with the Yayasan Wilayah Persekutuan, and 55 students from Kampung Batu 3, Semenyih, amounting to a total of 175 B40 SPM students benefitting from this initiative.
Pandai Premium offers a comprehensive subscription plan that includes an array of interactive learning tools such as practice questions, tests, notes, 1-on-1 chat assistance, online tutoring in all subjects, and exam question samples, ensuring continuous access to valuable resources for uninterrupted revision.
Chief Executive Officer of Pandai Education Sdn Bhd, Khairul Anwar Mohamad Zaki, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, highlighting Pandai’s commitment to supporting students in their educational journey through innovative learning tools.
“We are delighted to contribute to this noble cause and help uplift individuals in need through this joint effort,” he emphasised.
