Samsung GALAXY Note Edge launches in Malaysia.
We’ve been hearing about it and have waited ever since Samsung made the reveal in October last year. Wait no more, for Samsung has officially brought the Samsung GALAXY Note Edge to Malaysia. A marriage of style and substance, the Note Edge is the culmination of years of innovation.
Speaking at the media excursion, Lee Jui Siang, Mobile, IT and Digital Imaging of Samsung Malaysia Electronics said: “With the GALAXY Note series of products, Samsung has been recognised as the creator of an entirely new market and culture of smartphones. We are proud to bring to you an optimised and sophisticated GALAXY Note Edge that will be the perfect mobile companion for the tech savvy and style pioneers. Taking the GALAXY Note experience to the next level, the GALAXY Note Edge provides users with a new way to access information, engage with their mobile device, and express their personality and tastes.”
Multi-window continues to make improve and on the Note Edge the feature is especially useful, thanks to the 5.6in Quad HD Super AMOLED display. Like all GALAXY Note devices, the S Pen is included.
The main selling point of the Note Edge is the Edge Screen, a brand new way to interact with your device. It allows you to quickly access or use your favourite apps, or receive notifications and alerts even if you placed a phone cover over the screen. If you are watching a video or browsing the net, incoming calls or messages don’t interrupt you but instead show up on the Edge Screen.
Other notable features of the Note Edge are the 120-degree wide angle of the camera, so you can take Wide Selfie shots with your friends and not miss out anyone. Plus, never worry about battery as the Note Edge’s battery is replaceable and there is a fast charging feature for those always on the go.
The GALAXY Note Edge is priced at RM2,999 and will be available in two colours: Charcoal Black and Frost White. Those interested can purchase one at all Samsung Experience Stores as well as any retailers authorised by Samsung.
