DJI is giving the Phantom 4 Pro drone a colour coat, not the usual white blend with the sky apperance but a more sleek menacing look of matte black, which the drone maker calls Obsidian.
Making its appearance at IFA, not just aesthetic the black coloured shell also features a magnesium, electroplated and anti-fingerprint coated gimbal which went through rigorous requires higher standard manufacturing technique to achieve its capability.
Just like the whit sibling, the Phantom Pro has a large 1-inch 20 megapixel CMOS sensor and is capable of shooting in 4K 60fps for the movie director in you, after the model is targeted for professionals. Other features include a mechanical shutter, 5 direction obstruction sensing ability, 7 kilometre range control and longer battery durability.
The Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian will retail for US$1,499 and will be available in September online and retail outlets.
