Microsoft may have accidentally confirmed that it would end Lumia support on its US website. For a short while, users who tried to register their device on the website would be greeted with a message reading: “Lumia phones are not supported in Canada, United States and, Australia.”
The tech giant responded with a statement that reads:
“That phrase actually pertains if you want to have your phone a repair. For US, Canada and Australia there is a different website where you can ask a repair that’s what the statement on the website trying to tell to the customer.”
Still, this is a little suspicious… And we’ve heard rumours that the Lumia brand will be discontinued by the end of the year.
