Nintendo confirmed today that Blizzard’s popular action RPG Diablo III will come to Nintendo Switch on 2nd November 2018. The port is called Diablo III: Eternal Collection and will include the base game along with all of the updates and DLC since launch. This means that you’ll get to enjoy both the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions just by getting the game on Nintendo’s console.
The game will make use of the Switch’s unique hybrid control schemes. Not only is the game will be fully playable in handheld mode, you can also enjoy the game with a single joy-con. This means that you’ll also get to easily play local co-op with your friends. The game supports up to four-player local co-op, though you may need some extra joy cons for the extra two players.

Sadly, the Switch version of Diablo III won’t feature cross-play or even cross-saves. Regardless, this might be a great choice for fans who are eager to play Diablo III on the go, or are just getting into the franchise.
The Eternal Collection is one of the many Diablo projects that Blizzard previously teased at Blizzcon this year. With a bundle like Diablo III: Eternal Collection now coming out, it looks like the game may finally be on its way out after having been around for a decade. As of yet, Blizzard has yet to announce whether a Diablo IV is in the works.
