Players are still hard at work hunting the new Elder Dragon, Kulve Taroth. However, Capcom isn’t stopping there as it now introduces a new quest for hunters. In the Devil May Cry event, Dante takes a break from demon hunting and joins the Hunter’s Guild of Astera to hunt monsters of the New World.

This collaboration between Monster Hunter World and the Devil May Cry features an outfit themed after the series’ own protagonist. This includes Dante’s iconic white hair and trench coat, as well as his signature Force Edge sword.
To begin, players must look for a quest called ‘Code: Red’. This is a quest for Hunter Ranks 14 or higher that tasks players to kill a series of monsters. These include the Anjanath, Odogaron, Rathalos, and Elder Dragon Teostra.
By successfully completing this quest, players will collect Red Orbs and use them as materials at the Smithy. Hunters require a total of seven Red Orbs to craft the entire Devil May Cry set. That’s not all, however, as hunters will also require rare materials from the hunted monsters, which includes the elusive Teostra gem.
If walking around in Dante’s outfit speaks Sensational, then using the Force Edge screams Smokin’ Sick Style. Modeled after the game’s Charge Blade weapon class, the Force Edge transforms into Dante’s Alastor sword when certain movesets are used.
The Devil May Cry event quest runs until 10th May at 5PM PT (11th May at 8AM +8GMT).
Monster Hunter World is available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
