The much awaited continuation to the Cyberpunk series, Cyberpunk 2077, which has whet the appetites of gamers for the better part of five years has finally got a release date and it’s soon. April 16th 2020 soon but that’s not all! CD Projekt Red also just unveiled a new trailer for the game and holy shit Keanu Reeves is in it! Fresh off John Wick 3 and his hilarious appearance in Always Be My Maybe, the chosen one himself makes a special appearance at the very end of the four minute trailer. While it’s unclear as to what exactly his role is, I don’t think it really matters! John freaking Wick is in Cyberpunk 2077!!!! All this edging by CD Projekt Red had better lead to an unforgettable climax and by the looks of the trailer, it will. You can check it out below.

In case you’ve not been in the loop, the game is an open-world adventure set in a fictional metropolis called Night City. The game itself is actually an adaptation of the Cyberpunk board games and if CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher is anything to go by, the game is going to be great. In the game, you’ll take control of V, a customizable mercenary fighting through a dystopian world controlled by street gangs and corportations. The game itself relies heavily on futuristic technology of course and if you’ve watched the trailer you’ll see just how extensive it is.

April 16th 2020 just can’t seem to come soon enough.
