Today, the Ministry of Health identified 16 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 6,742 with 1,410 active cases as of May 12.

Out of the new cases, three cases are imported.

110 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 5223. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 77.47% percent.

There are currently 16 cases being treated in the ICU, with 3 cases on ventilation support.

The MoH also reported no new deaths as of May 12, keeping Malaysia’s death toll to Covid-19 at 109.
