Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 31 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5851 cases, with 1719 active cases as of April 28.

75 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 4032 . This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 69 percent.

There are currently 36 cases being treated in the ICU, with 17  cases on ventilation support.

The MoH also announced one new death in Malaysia, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 100.

The latest death from coronavirus in Malaysia is case 3628, a 67-year old male who had a history of diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease and stroke. He was treated at Hospital Sungai Buloh, Selangor.
