Cooler Master is a Taipei based computer components and peripheral company with 25 years in the industry. I knew them for their notebook fans way back when I had a laptop that would crash without constant cooling. They now make a lot of other computer hardware and peripherals.
One being keyboards. Cooler Master is now introducing the new MK730 Tenkeyless Cherry MX Mechanical Keyboard. The keyboard features RGB lighting with lightbar, a removable PU leather and memory wrist rest and easy cable management. As it’s a tenkeyless (TKL) keyboard, which basically means it doesn’t have a numpad (numeric keypad) making it a smaller keyboard. It’s being touted as compact by Cooler Master but that is still yet to be seen. In theory, it would be. The keyboard seems like it would be ideal for people with smaller office/gaming spaces.
The MK730 actually is based off Cooler Master’s M750. They decided that they wanted a mechanical TKL keyboard with the same specs as the M750. The other features of the keyboard include –
- Removable USB Type-C cable for easy access.
- On the fly controls. You can control lights, macros and profiles without needing software.
- Brushed aluminum top plate.
The MK730 is now available in Malaysia for RM 479.
