As gaming has become a huge staple of what CES is all about, MSI introduces tonnes of new products and innovations to its current line-up. Among the list includes a gaming monitor, a gaming motherboard, a GPU, a new gaming laptop and even a new gaming desktop.

MSI Optix MPG

More of an expansion than anything else, MSI introduces two new monitors into its Optix series with MPG curved gaming monitors. This new MPG series includes the Optix MPG27C and Optix MPG27CQ, both of which are 27-inches.

Both the MPG27C and MPG27CQ feature a curved VA panel with a 180R curve, coupled with a 178° viewing angle. Both models will also feature a 144Hz refresh rate with 1ms response time, something that has become the norm for gaming monitors these days. While the MPG27C houses a 1080p display, the MPG27CQ carries a 1440p WQHD screen (fun fact: the MPG27CQ was named a CES 2018 Innovation Award Nominee).

The MSI Optix MPG series will also be the first gaming monitors to come with the SteelSeries GameSense hardware built-in. Not only does the back of the monitor feature RGB lighting, the front also carries RGB lighting. This comes in handy as the five RGB zones can be programmed through the SteelSeries engine, which will display in-game timers and cooldowns, to name a few.

Both monitors also come with VESA mounting capabilities and an adjustable stand, making it even easier for you to decide on how you want it to be placed. There is also a healthy dose of ports like two HDMI (2.0), one DisplayPort (1.2), one USB 3.0 Type B, two USB 3.0 Type A and an audio combo jack to name a few.

MSI Z370 GODLIKE GAMING Motherboard

With the latest Intel 8th Generation processor already here, MSI introduces its Z370 GODLIKE GAMING motherboard to be its compatible companion. The Z370 support triple Turbo M.2 with M.2 Shield V2, Turbo U2 with Steel Armor and features an Xtreme Audio digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with Nahimic 2.

Thanks to Steel Armor, the Z370 is capable of housing up to four DDR4 RAM slots. Steel Armor also protects the DDR4 modules by keeping the DIMM slots shielded. Whether you’re team red or green, the Z370 can support multiple GPUs through NVIDIA SLI or AMD CrossFire.

The Z370 GODLIKE GAMING motherboard is also another CES 2018 Innovation Award Nominee.

MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z GPU

As graphic cards are a core element in a customised rig, MSI introduces its latest GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z GPU with extreme overclocking capabilities. The thermal design of the Lightning features Tri-Frozr, using the award-winning TORX 2.0 fans with double ball-bearings. Aside from its thermal design, the Lightning Z utilises close quarters heat pipe cooling, which are infused into the Close Quarters Heatsink and Backplate for optimum thermal performance.

MSI GT75VR Titan Pro

More like an upgrade rather a new gaming laptop on its own, the MSI GT75VR Titan Pro is one of MSI’s most popular gaming laptops to date. The latest iteration comes with an all-new Killer Wireless-AC 1550. Dubbed as the world’s fastest 2×2 11ac wireless networking adapter and developed in partnership with Intel, it is capable of delivering up to 1.73Gbps of throughput.

Another feature that will also be introduced to MSI’s range of gaming laptops is its new innovative Gaming Mode software. This gives users better overall performance, interactive backlighting and in-game optimisations.

MSI Trident 3 Arctic & Infinite X

While many believe that building your own gaming rig is much better than purchasing it pre-made, MSI has managed to make its gaming rigs stand out from the crowd. One in particular is the Trident 3 Arctic, which was introduced in March 2017. This time round, it comes with the latest 8th Generation Intel Core processor alongside the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU. Of course, the main selling point of the Trident 3 Arctic is its smaller than usual footprint, which is perfect for gamers with space restraints.

Another gaming rig to come out from MSI is its Infinite X, which adopts a more traditional tower design as compared to the Trident 3 Arctic. However, it does carry some unique features of its own, like MSI’s Silent Storm Cooling 3 Pro liquid cooling. The Infinite X also gives you the choice between dual steel or dual tempered glass side panels, which gives you an inside look to all the inner workings of the Infinite X. It also carries Mystic Light RGB LEDs for some much-needed lighting visuals because… RGB.

The Infinite X will also house the 8th Generation Intel Core processor with MSI’s very own GPU.

In other news, there are talks about the MSI Aegis Ti3 gaming desktop coming equipped with the 8th Generation Intel processor as well, which will be released later this year.
