CES 2018: The Reveal of the Huawei Wi-Fi Q2 Home Wi-Fi Solution

With smart homes being a huge topic at CES 2018, Huawei unveils its new Huawei Wi-Fi Q2 Home Wi-Fi Solution that promises swift wireless connectivity. This hybrid home networking system is the ideal solution for today’s smart connected homes.

Huawei’s new mesh Wi-Fi system breaks the mould from the conventional connectivity systems, which were designed to adhere to specific house sizes and shape. Thanks to its unique G.hn gigabit PLC module, this mesh Wi-Fi system is capable of breaking through barriers and traverse walls to give you a strong signal every time. This defeats the purpose of having a traditional set-up as it requires strategic placement in order to receive good signals.

Another problem that home owners face with traditional Wi-Fi systems is the setup process, which requires one too many steps. With the Q2 Home Wi-Fi Solution, it can now be done in five simple steps. From installation to configuration, you don’t have to scratch your head to figure out what went wrong anymore.

Huawei ensures its Q2 Home Wi-Fi Solution can deliver on its breathtaking speed of up to 1,867Mbps. This happens through the bond of PLC and mesh Wi-Fi, which is considered the fastest Wi-Fi backhaul network in the world.

The new mesh Wi-Fi system can also accommodate up to 192 connected devices simultaneously with a complete system. It blankets every nook and cranny of your home with Wi-Fi coverage, eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones for good. While it’s designed to support up to 16 hot spots, you can also throw in additional satellites that can connect to the network automatically, removing the need to go through a setup and configuration process.

The Huawei Wi-Fi Q2 Home Wi-Fi Solution comes in four different packages:
