Celcom Xpax customers can now enjoy Unlimited internet from as low as RM1, with Celcom Xpax’s new ‘Ultra Hour Pass TM’. They make it seem like they’re offering plans for RM 1, which would’ve been something. But for an hour of internet access, seems a bit meh. At this point who doesn’t have an internet plan setup monthly, or postpaid.
Celcom Xpax customers can get the ‘Ultra Hour Pass TM’ offers an hour of unlimited high-speed internet at RM1. Other plans include three-hour Ultra Hour Pass at RM2, 12-hours at RM5 or 24-hours at only RM8.
Roy Ong, Chief Product and Innovation Officer of Celcom Axiata Berhad, said Celcom Xpax has been enhanced with the all-new “Ultra Hour Pass”
“For only RM1, customers can enjoy an hour of unlimited high-speed Internet and access digital information and entertainment at their own convenience. This offer is also perfect for customers who do not wish to use up their existing data quota while streaming HD videos on their devices.
“For an example, if a Celcom Xpax customer has about two-hours of free time and wants to stream a two-hour HD movie on their device, they can easily access and enjoy three-hours of unlimited high-speed Internet for only RM2,” he said.
At the end of the day, it seems unclear on who exactly this is for. Who doesn’t have data at any one given point of time? Or if they only wanted data for 2 hours? I think people are smart enough to download things they need, rather than streaming on the go. Not sure, but this is the step Celcom seems to be moving in. But if it leads to cheaper plans, I’m all for it.

This celcom ultra pass are flexible as we can buy it any time we want to use it only. Suitable for rarely internet users.
where got la.. Umobile rm12 unlimited but capped at 3mbps only. Slow jor..

don’t bother the hotspot ley. still okay with the unlimited internet now. very cheap one.

That’s why i jump from maxis to xpax plan. Maxis plan very expensive which need me to commit to their contract but the performance almost the same. I prefer use xpax ultra prepaid plan coz i’m rarely surf internet especially on weekdays.
convenience for my 3 kids, it is more than enough. They just allow to surf the internet max 2H only 3 times a week. So that this ultra pass plan can help me to monitor them as much as i can.
Yup. I stay in Cheras with super awesome xpax signal here. Anyways, im not regret by purchased this new ultra hour plan since their coverage more stable and wider wherever u go…
