Printing colourful prints from grey or white boring printers is an oxymoron, for printer company’s who promote vibrant colour print out on their printers, it baffles me why they never thought of making colourful printers. Lucky for us who live in a non-monochromatic world, Canon is now releasing a range of Pixma in cool appealing colours.

Canon Pixam all-in-one printers inject now comes with a first-ever two-tone, champagne gold and black design and a wraparound black, red, white options who three new models, the TS9170 , TS8170 TS5170.

Both models will have features allowing direct mobile printing with the support of Bluetooth 4.0 technology and also by using an app stay connected with the printers status like receiving useful alerts such as low-ink notifications. Subtle enhancements like a 5″, 4.3″ and a 2.5″ touch screen LCD panel on the TS5170 model gives consumers quick and easy access in managing their prints. Canon has added new functions into the photo printers like the automatic double sided printing, a new ink system with photo blue making the printer a 6 ink system.

There is also the ID Card Copying function allowing double-sided ID cards to be scanned onto a single printout – while retaining the original card size. Prints can now come alive with the compatible app, by using the Message in Print app prints can turn to action when viewed over the app.

Message in Print app is free for download on the Apple App Store and is applicable for iPhone users only. Price for th Pixma TS9170 is RM1037 while the entry model TS5170 is RM537 available on Canon official store on Lazada.
