Fans of Call of Duty should be thrilled with this bit of news, Sony has released the beta version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Collective work between Infinity Ward and Activision will have players enjoy the beta version and offer feedback to the publishers, while the good work continues till the scheduled launch date on November 4th..

There are a couple of things you should know before you embark on the adventure, the beta file is approximately 20GB and is specifically focused on competitive multiplayer, so there is no campaigns or Zombies in this one. It does however come with maps of Frontier a small section of a giant space station, Frost a research facility atop icy surface of Jupiters moon Europa and Throwback takes you back to 1950 US Main Street that sits on an orbiting space station.

Modes include, Team Deathmatch, Domination and Kill Confirmed along with new ones like Defender where your team have to grab a drone and defend it. Main addition to the Infinite Warfare is the Combat Rigs which basically are combat systems or suits players can choose to wear for tactical sequences.

Access code can be attained by pre-ordering any edition of  Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare from a participating retailer or through PlayStation Store when you sign up for the game. Beta will run from now through October 17 with a second run from October 21 through October 24. Availability of the Infinite Warfare Beta will vary by territory.
