Adding the curves to the UHD TV formula.

Showcased in CES 2015, Samsung’s new range of curved SUHD TVs are now available in Malaysia. Launched to a large crowd in the concourse area of Pavilion KL, Samsung’s SUHD TVs have set a new bar for the best in Visual Display and promises a whole new level of viewing experience.
The new TVs offer a few new features such as a re-mastering engine for SUHD, a stylish curved design, as well as revamped Smart TV interface that’s now based on Samsung’s Tizen OS.
“Samsung has achieved significant milestones in the market for Visual Displays, both through collaboration and by always striving to be the best. As a result – and for the ninth consecutive year – Samsung is now the world’s leading TV manufacturer, shaping the future of the TV industry with award winning designs, unparalleled picture quality and innovative content partnerships – all developed with consumer preferences in mind and consumers can trust that we are more committed than ever to consistently deliver a superior home entertainment experience for years to come,” said Lee Sang Hoon, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics.
Utilising nano-crystal technology, the Samsung SUHD TVs are able to deliver 64 times more colour expression compared to regular TVs, 2.5 times maximum brightness against normal UHD TVs, and amazing contrast levels.
With Samsung’s Tizen powering the new TVs, customers can now enjoy a more responsive UI and a Quick Connect feature to connect the TV to Samsung smartphones. Using this feature, videos can be shared to the TV by pressing a button.
At the moment, three models of this new SUHD TV series have been brought in to the local market. The SUHD TV 78JS9500 for RM39,999, SUHD TV 65JS9000 for RM24,999, and SUHD TV 55JS8000 for RM9,999.
