Bowers & Wilkins has introduced its latest flagship active noise-cancelling wireless headphones, the Px8 S2, to the Malaysian market at RM3,299.
The British audio brand, trusted by music professionals worldwide for its detailed and immersive sound, positions the Px8 S2 as its most advanced headphone to date. The model builds on the success of the multi-award-winning Px7 S3 and the original Px8, while elevating both performance and design.
The Px8 S2 features a slimmer profile than its predecessor and comes with a more compact carry case for easy portability. Crafted with ultra-soft Nappa leather on the headband and earcups, alongside lightweight aluminium arms and exposed cable detailing, the headphones combine durability with refined aesthetics. Available in Onyx Black and Warm Stone, the Px8 S2 is also designed with replaceable ear cushions and a serviceable headband.
Performance is driven by new 40mm Carbon Cone drive units, offering low distortion, clarity and dynamic range. The units are carefully angled towards the listener’s ears to enhance stereo imaging and spaciousness. A discrete headphone amplifier provides greater scale and authority, ensuring an immersive listening experience that stays true to the artist’s intent.
Connectivity is equally robust, with support for aptX Adaptive 24/96 and Qualcomm’s aptX Lossless technology for optimised wireless transmission. High-resolution streaming from platforms such as Tidal, Amazon Music and Qobuz can be enjoyed via the Bowers & Wilkins Music app. For flexibility, the Px8 S2 also includes 3.5mm analogue and USB-C digital connections, with both cables supplied.
Noise cancellation technology has been further refined. With eight strategically placed microphones, the Px8 S2 blocks out external noise while preserving musical quality. The same system ensures clear voice calls, assisted by ADI Pure Voice processing for improved clarity in noisy environments.
Battery life extends to 30 hours with noise cancellation active, while a 15-minute quick charge provides up to seven additional hours of playback. Users can configure settings such as EQ, noise-cancelling transparency and wear-sensor sensitivity through the Bowers & Wilkins Music app. Over-the-air updates will add features including spatial audio and Bluetooth LE Audio with Auracast broadcast support later this year.
The Px8 S2 is now available in Malaysia at tcacoustic.asia, the Sonos Concept Store at Starhill, the Bowers & Wilkins Official Store on Lazada and selected retailers including Thundermatch, Flash Gadget and PC Image.
