Bose Speakers Turn Smart With Google Assistant

Intelligent speakers are all the craze now, with Google, Amazon, Apple all having their own brands in the market, the party will no longer be exclusive for 3 tech giants, now main stream manufacturers want in and are making a beeline to grab a piece of the cake. After adopting Alexa into their speakers, Bose will now work with Google to bring Assistant to a selection of home high end speakers.

Now users can command their appliances like dimming the light or controlling their Chrome casted television with the Bose smart speakers and soundbars including the Bose 500, Bose Soundbar 500 and 700, and an all-new, compact smart speaker coming later the Bose Home Speaker 300.

No longer just an audio paraphernalia in the house, smart speakers a becoming regular feature in the dining or kitchen room and Bose has finally made the plunge to bring voice to their famous speakers. First timers can say “Hey Google” and start playing music and radio, stream video, ask questions and play podcast directly from their Bose smart speakers.

However a simple setup process is required, just go to “Voice Settings” for the device in the Bose Music app, select the Google Assistant and follow the guided setup process.
