Done and but not dusted, BlackBerry known for their mobile security applications and capability has released a new Android smartphone the DTEK50. The company claims the new device to be the worlds most secure android, its second smartphone after ditching its own BB OS.
Fully equipped with Android Marshmallow 6.0, with a 8MP front facing and a 13MP rear camera, the entry level phone brings a unique security, privacy and productivity applications that will get many vulnerable individuals conscious about what they store and receive in the phones. The full Android touch design is targeted for these peopls and those looking to keep sensitive corporate data within their employees.

Security Comes First
So what makes the new device so secure, you ask? Its designed to address the security and privacy needs with various forms of danger one can be targeted from like cyberattacks through tactics like malicious apps, scareware notifications and insecure Wi-Fi connections.
DTEK50 is capable of encrypting all users’ information, including business critical data and personal data such as pictures, videos and contacts. There is also a malware protection feature built-in along with back-up, wipe and restore capabilities. Additional software provides users with visibility and control over which apps get access to personal info or device features such as the microphone or camera. BlackBerry also delivers security patches on the same day that Google publicly releases information about them.
Other feature include, Rapid Security Patching allows the company to be the quickest to deliver security patches, making response and patch management to protect your device from malicious threats a priority. Another cool app is DTEK which tracks applications and notifies you when someone is: taking pictures or videos without your knowledge, turning your microphone on, sending a text message, or accessing your contacts or location. Among the rest is also the FIPS 140-2 Compliant Full Disk Encryption which protects your private information, like pictures or bank information, from being stolen if you were to lose your phone.
