
Looks like the unexpected delay has not deterred the organisers in staging the countries largest esports tournament, Asian Games For E-Sports or AGES 2016 has a new date and is set to take place in MidValley Convention Centre May this month.
The event was initially scheduled to take place in April at University Institute Technology Mara (UITM) in Shah Alam, however due to some technical issues the organisers had to postpone the show after coming close to kick-off. Now, its all go for the biggest prize money esports tournament in Malaysia with over RM1,000,000 to be given way during the three day challenge. Teams from Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand take on Malaysia in this all or nothing challenge, bringing their top game playing DOTA, Counter Strike Go and FIFA 16, tickets for entry is RM40 for three day pass and RM14 for one day.
With country pride at stake, visitors can support the teams and catch all the thrills and destruction from May 27 to 29, 10am-10pm. Sponsors include, TM, SKMM, Astro, Asus, PC.com, and more. You can check the participating team at www.ages.my/home/
