Battlefield 1 has been wildly popular, both globally and in Malaysia too. But with any large title, a lot has to be done to keep the game from feeling stale. That’s why DICE has already started showing off details and images from the game’s first piece of paid downloadable content (DLC). Barely 3 months have passed since the game first launched and this new paid expansion to the game, called “They Shall Not Pass”, is already set for launch.
The DLC will add quite a number things to the multiplayer. The first on the list is a new game mode called Frontlines. It sits somewhere between ‘Conquest’ and ‘Rush’ game modes but instead of contesting multiple checkpoints, these will be fought for one at a time. When one checkpoint is captured, another is revealed. It’ll be up to players to decide whether holding the existing point or moving to the next one is a better strategy.

Four new maps are also being added, as are more vehicles and weapons. These include a Siege Howitzer, an Assault Tank Gun, and the Char 2C tank. There’s also a new playable class.
