Apple’s AirPower is a wireless charger announced two years ago together with the iPhone X. Users can charge their iPhones, Apple Watch and AirPod headphones simultaneously on the AirPower. Third party brands like Belkin and mophie has already launched their version of wireless chargers. However, it looks like we will never see the AirPower because the production has been cancelled.

“After much effort, we’ve concluded AirPower will not achieve our high standards and we have cancelled the project. We apologize to those customers who were looking forward to this launch. We continue to believe that the future is wireless and are committed to push the wireless experience forward,” said Apple Senior Vice President of hardware engineering Dan Riccio in a statement.
