For all the Playstation 4 fans out there, and the current Playstation 4 owners as of now, we would like to bring you news and rumours on the upcoming Playstation 4 Neo, which is considered to be an upgrade for the Playstation 4 unit. Why would this new version of this Playstation 4 would be an upgrade rather than just an update of the current Playstation is because, unlike the PSOne, or the slim versions of the PS2s and PS3s, there will be an upgrade of two essential components:
- Playstation 4 Neo Now Supports 4K Resolution (Not just video but also gameplay)
- Upgraded Hardware – Better CPU and GPU ( Bringing better performance and framerates)
It is the first time in the Sony Playstation’s history that this upgrade will be done, for mainly a number of reasons.
- To keep the system updated with 4K TV sets
- To keep the system updated compared to PCs
- To keep the system updated for Playstation VR (Which requires high-end computing power)
Speculations says that the Playstation 4 Neo might be released within three weeks from now or in early 2017, but there’s no confirmation yet on when the console will be released, we will have to wait for the official word from Sony.
