After launching the Alcatel OneTouch Flash Plus just weeks ago, TCL Communication is about to introduce the OneTouch Flash 2 a successor to the OneTouch Flash launched last year.

The date has been fixed for 22nd September and the invitation we received has a green glow surrounding the 5″ device with the tagline “Power of Green” which we believe points to the green keys that the phones will have, a somewhat trademark for the series. There is not much information available about the phone as the date is scheduled along with other regional launch including India, where the brand popular, so this could be a planned simultaneous launch event.

Alcatel OneTouch Flash android smartphone was launched with a 5.5″ HD IPS display, dual slots with 1GB RAM and 8GB memory, it appealed to the low and mid segment with the phones key price point for the features offered.

In Malaysia, Lazada has been appointed as the partner for online distribution for the OneTouch Flash Plus which was retailed at reasonable price of only RM499, as for the coming launch its not clear how the company is planning to ship out the devices, whether Lazado will still be the only partner, or the company will decide to go storefront and online. We shall have to wait and see in a weeks time.
