Adobe revealed the first cloud-based digital signatures built on an open standard. Adobe Document Cloud and Adobe Sign will enable digital signatures. Claimed to be the most advanced and secure type of electronic signatures used for things like healthcare forms or mortgage applications, it can be accessed in any browser or on any mobile device.
Adobe Sign comes with new functionalities, allowing users to streamline the flow of documents and tasks across entire teams with solutions that are mobile, customizable and easy-to-use. Adobe Sign is integrated with the existing systems, processes and applications used by the public. It’s quick and easy to digitise documents with a smartphone ‘scan’, route documents for collaboration or certified electronic delivery, and connect into popular systems like Microsoft SharePoint.
“Open standards propel entire industries forward, allowing interoperability between otherwise fragmented solutions, and paving the way for widespread adoption,” said Bryan Lamkin, executive vice president and general manager of Digital Media, Adobe.
The Adobe Sign preview release will be available to customers in the coming weeks.
Adobe Mobility for Signing allows you to scan and sign quick on mobile smart devices. You can also add a tracking widget to track and manage signatures without needing to open the app.
New capabilities allow users to ask recipients to fill out a simple form that doesn’t need a signature, like a facilities request at work or a patient intake form at the doctor. Notify recipients about important terms and conditions or policy updates.
You can also request ‘certified delivery’ when you need clear proof that your recipient both viewed and acknowledged a document such as a legal notification or change of terms (available within 30 days).
Complex online processes such as loan applications can be simplified and easily managed on the dashboard. It also integrates with SharePoint so you can request signatures from others, track your progress and archive documents securely.
Customers and partners can see mobile and web signing in action with the Adobe Sign preview release, expected in the coming weeks. Cloud Signature-compliant digital ID solutions will be available from the following providers over the coming months: Asseco Data Systems, Certinomis, D-Trust, InfoCert, Intarsys, Intesi Group and Universign. Adobe customers can contact their customer support manager to join the product preview.
