Acer continues to create quality design for its products, as five of them are awarded Japan’s Good Design Award 2015. The awarding foundation, Japan Institute for Design Promotion, is a comprehensive design evaluation body, which aims to enhance the industry and quality of life through design. And Acer tops over 3,600 entries to win these awards.

Seji Peng, Associate VP of the Acer Industrial Design Business Unit states: “As the PC industry shifts from being technology-centric to human-centric, Acer has invested a lot of effort exploring and creating designs that users really want.”

The award-winning products are Revo One RL85 mini PC, Aspire R 11 convertible notebook, Apire Switch 10 E 2-in-1 notebook, Predator Z35 curved gaming monitor and K138STi portable LED projector.

These products’ design puts customer’s experience to the forefront. The Revo One RL85 mini PC is made for family usage with a sleek and simple design, which can support up to 6TB of storage, 4K display resolution and 7.1 channel audio output. It is incredible considering the small size of the PC to be packing such specs under its hood.

The company’s notebooks also rise to the top with a fluid convertible design and portability, which does not compromise on comfort and look. Besides that, the Predator Z35 is the first gaming monitor to come with the NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ and the curved monitor provides a more immersive and wraparound gaming experience.

The same goes for its portable LED projector. The conveniently petite sized projector (smaller than A4 sheets) allows you to take cinematic experience wherever you go with built-in battery and powerful built-in DTS® sound stereo speakers.
