Acer Malaysia unveils their latest line of devices in Malaysia. It includes two new laptops, an UltraWide QHD+ display , the new P-series projectors and a refreshed All-in-One (AIO). The new devices adds on to Acer’s family of devices already in Malaysia.
First off, the new Swift 3. Powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, it also comes with NVIDIA’s MX150 GPU driving the 15.6-inch display. With a 10-hour battery life, the Swift 3 is the perfect companion for road warriors looking for mobile performance. It also comes with the latest 2×2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac wireless tech for speedy connectivity to the net.
The Switch 5 comes in two sizes – 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch screen. Both are powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Core processor, with the smaller model featuring either a Core i5 or i7 and the larger model a Core i7 processor. 1080p touch-screen displays adorns the two models, and supports Windows Ink via the Acer Active Stylus, powered by Wacom technology.
Wide-screen aficionados can look forward to the Acer XR382CQK monitor. With an UltraWide QHD+ (3840 x 1600 pixel) display, the XR382CQK has a 37.5-inch panel that wraps around your viewing space. Thanks to the 2300R curvature, it wraps like no other monitor out there. It supports Freesync tech for tear-free viewing experience during games, and the 178-degree viewing angle means images will look clear, sharp and colourful at any angle.
The new Acer Aspire C222-860 AIO computer is an everyday computing machine for the masses. Powering it is the 7th Gen Intel Core i3 processor, supported by 4GB of RAM, 1TB of storage and 21.5-inch IPS display for a well-rounded computing experience.
For businesses, the P Series projectors, which includes the P1350WL, P1150 and P1250, marks the first time Acer projectors come with a blue-light filter. The Acer BluelightShield gives the users the flexibility in lowering the blue light level to safeguard the eyes – up to 30% less blue light emitted by the projector. The projectors are also 3D ready, and supports wireless projection without the need to connect the projector to a computer.
