CES is a place for innovation and a window for consumers to get a glimpse of what to expect in the coming year. Next years affair will see many new breakthrough technology on show, virtual reality will become commercial and its application in real world scenario can be seen, internet of things and automated cars will also be on centre stage, larger screens with higher resolution has always been a crowd puller and we will see more of those, amidst these new innovation- time tested technology will also be side by side parading their hardwares for the world see. To be showcased for the first time, LG MInibeam 2016 series LED projectors will distinguish itself apart with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity features, three models PH550, PW1000 and PW1500 will be on display at the electronics show which has been significantly reduced in thickness and made easier to lug around.
The all-new compact PH550 eliminates the need for all wires with its triple wire-free connectivity, a first in any projector it claims. What this means is that you can send content to the projector from a smartphone or tablet using the Wi-Fi mirroring-enabled Screen Share, connect to speakers wirelessly via Bluetooth and unplug from the wall for 2.5 hours using the rechargeable internal battery. In terms of size the projector sits at about the size of a standard A4 sheet of paper, the PH550 at 550 lumens is the brightest among LG’s battery-powered projectors.
Winner of the CES 2016 Innovation Award, the PF1000U is unique in its ability to project a 100-inch image when placed at just15 inches (38 centimeters) from a wall or screen. The projector is the world’s first ultra short throw projector to weigh less than 2kg. Despite its small size, it delivers a 1,000 lumen brightness rating, while consuming just a third of the power of competing units. In addition, the Minibeam operates at an ultra-low 21dB while in Eco Mode.
As for the PW1500, this model is able to render images at 1,500 lumens, the brightest in the entire LG Minibeam series. Appropriate for those who choose to present slide shows to cinema like viewing experience and lastly the PW1000 offers 1,000 lumens with most of the features found on the other model but with a more competitive price.

LG’s new 2016 Minibeam models will be available in key European markets and the United States in the first quarter of 2016. LG Minibeam will be on display at CES 2016 from January 6-9 in Las Vegas.
