At a cozy setting in San Francisco, Lenovo the worlds biggest PC maker launched what would become the next evolution of convertible laptops. Having already introduced many first’s, like 360 in 2005 which the company won the Red Dot Design Award and in 2012 when the brand launched the first multi-mode PC having such legacy, Lenovo now pushes the imagination further with Yoga 900, the worlds thinnest Intel core i7 convertible laptop, sliding in at just 14.9 mm including keyboard and weighs only 1.29 kg.

On the picture you can see Dilip Bhatia, Lenovo;s Vice President and GM Consumer PC and Microsoft’s VP for Operating Software Joe Belfiore, holding up the Yoga 900, note the unique ‘watch band hinge’ allowing flexible and stability to the notebook on any mode. Engineers at Lenovo went through hours of testing to come up with this revolutionary hinge that is seen on watches and have adopted it into the Yoga 900. Battery life on the laptop is also worth noting with a phenomenal 9 hours of local video playback, and to keep the temperature and noise level down on such a slim device, again the Lenovo laboratory devised a distinct thermal solution by creating special vents and using cooling fans that are as thin as human hair.

In terms of specification, you can expect to find all the top end components like a 16GB of RAM, backlit keyboard, 13.3″ QHD+ IPS display with 10 point touch, Dolby enhanced audio, JBL speakers and out of the box Windows 10 Home edition.
