HP is expanding its instant printer model it introduced mid last year by adding the missing feature…’a camera’ and releasing it late last year. The 2 in 1 HP Sprocket now arrives in Malaysia giving users instant prints just as a moment is shot on the attached camera. Earlier model only works with an app installed from phone.
While there are similar models from the likes of Fujifilm with Instax and Polaroid, HP uses Zink Zero ink technology for its paper where all the colour is already embedded into the photo paper itself. HP assures the paper to be smudge-proof and tear and water resistant. Another model was also announced for larger prints with Sprocket Plus which offers 30% larger photos compared to the other 2 models.
To celebrate the launch the printer company is organising a Valentine campaign, “HP Be My Valentine” with simple mechanics with winners stand a chance to walk away with HP products worth RM6500.
