Free Fire returns to the global esports stage with the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where 18 international teams will battle from 16 to 20 July for a slice of the US$1 million prize pool and a coveted qualification to the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals in Jakarta this November.
The tournament will unfold in three escalating stages:
Knockout Stage (July 16–18): Three groups of six teams will compete in six daily matches, with the top 12 teams progressing to the next round.
Point Rush (July 19): Six matches will determine each team’s Headstart Points for the final. All 12 teams move forward.
Grand Final (July 20): A Match Point format will be applied; the first team to hit 80 points and win a Booyah! will claim the championship.
Defending champions Team Falcons of Thailand are set to protect their 2024 title against seasoned contenders such as Fluxo from Brazil (FFWS 2024 Global Champions), ONIC and RRQ from Indonesia, among other global heavyweights.

Daily matches kick off at 9pm GMT+8 and will be streamed live via YouTube, Facebook and TikTok.
