Samsung Unveils Galaxy Z Flip7 And Flip7 FE

Samsung has announced the launch of its Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE in Malaysia, introducing major upgrades in AI features, battery life and FlexWindow usability, with pre-orders open from July 9–31 and general availability beginning Aug 1 2025.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 features a 4.1-inch edge-to-edge FlexWindow display, the largest and brightest on a Galaxy Z Flip to date, paired with a 6.9-inch main screen and a 4,300mAh battery, the biggest in the series. At just 13.7mm thick when folded, it is also the thinnest Flip yet.

Powered by the latest 3nm processor, the Flip7 supports Galaxy AI capabilities directly from the cover screen, including Gemini Live voice assistance, Now Bar for real-time app activity and Now Brief for daily updates. Samsung DeX is now available on the Flip7, allowing users to use it as a portable PC workstation.

The device also delivers flagship-level imaging with a 50MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide camera setup, enhanced by 10-bit HDR, Real-Time Filters and Dual Preview on the FlexWindow.

Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, offering core foldable features in a more accessible package with an immersive 6.7-inch display and 50MP FlexCam for hands-free selfies.

Security enhancements include Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) and quantum-resistant encryption for Secure Wi-Fi, bundled with One UI 8 and Android 16.
