Samsung has introduced its latest OLED TV, the Samsung OLED S95D, featuring Anti-Glare Technology to reduce light reflection and enhance the viewing experience. According to Meltwater’s Digital Report 2024, Malaysians still spend an average of 2 hours and 58 minutes daily watching TV and streaming, making screen quality an essential factor in entertainment.

Samsung highlighted that while glossy screens deliver vivid colours and deep contrasts, they also reflect surrounding light sources, which can be distracting. The Samsung OLED S95D addresses this issue with a specially designed embossed surface and a coating that diffuses light, minimising glare from lamps, windows, and other light sources.

Powered by the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor, the OLED S95D enhances details with brightness-boosting technology and OLED HDR Pro, ensuring vibrant visuals in various lighting conditions. The technology has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) for its ability to reduce light reflection, offering a more immersive viewing experience.

Samsung also emphasised that glare-free screens help reduce eye strain, allowing for longer, more comfortable viewing sessions. The company, which has led the global TV market for 18 consecutive years, described its OLED glare-free TVs as a long-term investment in consistent performance and reliability.
