Jeffrey Cheah Foundation (“JCF”) recently hosted its Scholarships and Awards Ceremony 2023, during which RM52 million in scholarships were disbursed, bringing the total scholarships and grants awarded by the foundation to RM670 million. 

The scholarships were presented by Permaisuri Johor, Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, and Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Sir Jeffrey Cheah KBE AO, founder and trustee of JCF. 

The ceremony underscores JCF’s commitment to providing quality education and equal opportunities for marginalized and disadvantaged students.

 Tan Sri Sir Jeffrey Cheah highlighted the importance of quality education and ethical values and commended the leadership of Her Majesty Permaisuri Johor in philanthropy and education. 

Various scholarships, including the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation Scholarship, were presented during the event.
