Sustainable Action Conference 2023 Announced Soft Launch Of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park & Kota Kinabalu Plastic Neutral and Fish-Bomb-Free Initiative

Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, has officially announced the soft launch of the Sustainable Action Conference 2023 (SAC 2023) during his visit to Malaysia. 

This significant event, co-organized by Control Union Malaysia and GSES – Global Sustainable Enterprise System, both Dutch holding companies, has garnered strong support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Malaysia, the Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC), and the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC). 

Scheduled for November 16, 2023, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam, I-City, SAC 2023 carries the theme, “Transitioning to being ESG compliant and Achieving Net Zero ambitions.” 

The conference aims to provide valuable insights and solutions for government and business sectors to take substantial steps towards achieving net-zero emission targets.

This noteworthy conference stands out with its focus on environmental sustainability and action plans. One of its key highlights is the Soft Launch of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park & Kota Kinabalu Plastic Neutral and Fish-Bomb-Free Initiative. 

This initiative emphasizes the critical need for environmental preservation and climate action in the region. The launch marks a significant step in the direction of promoting sustainability and responsible environmental practices.
