Realme introduced the Realme UI 5.0 beta program for GT2 Pro users.
The early access application is set to become available on November 2, 2023, with a limited number of users accepted in batches.
Users participating in this program will gain access to a preview of several enhanced features in the upcoming realme UI 5.0 update:
- Enhanced Security and Privacy: Improved management of photo and video-related permissions to ensure safer app access.
- Performance Optimization: Enhanced system stability, faster app launches, and smoother animations for a better user experience.
- System Improvements: Expanded support for apps in APP Cloner and new Media Output settings in the Control Center for extended use.
- Updated Design: A refreshed, gentle, and clearer color style for improved visual comfort, new ringtones, and revamped system notification sounds, along with enhanced system animations for smoother transitions.
Applicants interested in participating in the Realme UI 5.0 Early Access program are advised to ensure their phones are not rooted, backup their personal data, update all apps to the latest versions available on the Play Store, and make sure their phone has at least 15GB of storage available.
The Early Access versions may have an unpredictable impact on the device and daily use. The update is not guaranteed for every applicant, and realme suggests patience for the official release.
To apply for the Realme UI 5.0 Early Access program, users should ensure their Realme GT2 Pro has a minimum of 60% battery, update the device to the required UI version (RMX3301_13.1.0.506(EX01)), activate Developer Mode, and apply for Early Access via the Software Update Application channel following specific steps.
