edotco Malaysia a specialised telecommunication infrastructure has made its mark in offering telecom infrastructure solution in country and the region. The wholly owned subsidiary of Axiata, today launched its High Speed Mobility Solution for Cyberjaya, making the township one of the first location to be fully connected with such an infrastructure.

The solution, will integrate fiber, common antenna and towers enabling faster deployment of a Plug & Play model which will result in saving on bandwidth lease thus giving the operators options not to invest on microwave equipment for back haul. Apart from keeping a standard tower design without clutter and common radio frequency  antenna sharing, the company believes customers can save up to 35% compared to traditional site deployment.

Described in the industry as a “Base Transceiver Station (BTS) Hotel”, the High Speed Mobility Solution aggregates fixed and wireless traffic resources into a single location to provide shared network connectivity to the operators. This makes it an ideal solution for townships that require skyline harmonization for space-constrained areas, while at the same time promote sharing of infrastructure.
