dimsum Brings more Asian Entertainment Content

dimsum marks its first anniversary by inking four landmark deals with top Asian broadcasters at the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF), Singapore.

dimsum signed with GMM Grammy (Thailand), Celestial Tiger Entertainment (Hong Kong), Ani-One (Hong Kong) and Asia Travel (Taiwan), bringing more content to the subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service platform.

The collaboration with GMM Grammy, one of the largest media conglomerate in Thailand, will see dimsum carry some of the best and latest Thai idol drama series. Key titles featured includes Club Friday To Be Continued: Rak Long Jai, Home… Stay, Slam Dance, Lai Hong, Love Under the Shadow, and My Lil Boy 2.

dimsum also signed a deal with Celestial Tiger Entertainment to launch Miao Mi, a Mandarin edutainment channel catering to children 3 – 6 year olds. This deal provides educational content featuring Rubi, Bellbug Popo, Little Rabbit’s Kung Fu Academy, and Miao Mi Classroom for the audiences in Malaysia and Brunei. Audiences can choose to watch these programs in Mandarin or English whenever available. Other titles to join dimsum are Happy Friends (Season 7 & 8), Rubi-Gets It Right, Rubi-Animals and Nature, Rubi-Growing Up Happily, Pleasant Goat & Big Big Wolf – Dear Little Wish and The Mythical Ark: Adventures in Love and Happiness.

Ani-One, a Hong Kong anime channel, makes their first international partnership with the Malaysian based dimsum. Covering content on Japanese animation, the channel will also run a simulcast anime series, Infini-T Force. Infini-T Force is a CG-animated television anime which features heroes from five previous Tatsunoko Productions anime: Tekkaman, the Space Knight, Casshan (Casshern), Gatchaman and Hurricane Polymar. Other Ani-One key titles that will be featured include Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma – The Second Plate, Saga of Tanya The Evil, ALL OUT !!, Tales of Zestiria the X Season 1 & 2, and KONOSUBA – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! Season 1 & 2.

Taiwanese travel channel, Asia Travel, will bring up to date tourist information along with program offerings ranging from adventure, cultural exploration, cuisine to an all-encompassing variety travel programmes. dimsum will run Asia Travel branded VOD with travelogue program, including two premiering titles per year.
